Similar to many of Reg’s works, this piece is painted on cardboard and showcases one of his preferred subjects, Spitfires. The plane is depicted flying across a backdrop of green and red. The natural brown of the cardboard subtly shows through the lighter wash Reg has used, altering the colour tones.
