About the gallery

Pioneer Arts established as a result of our long-standing involvement with and commitment to the creative arts at Grace Eyre.

Artists supported by Grace Eyre have created amazing artwork for many years and enjoyed sharing and selling it through various exhibitions during that time, including at the former Grace Eyre Art Studio and Gallery at the Open Market in Brighton. In 2024, we’re proud and excited to launch our new online gallery called Pioneer Arts, which will enable us to share artwork by our Pioneer Artists with far more people.

Artists at Grace Eyre have taken part of the Artists Open House in Brighton for over 15 years. Formerly known as Montefiore Artists, from 2024, for the first time we will exhibit under the name Pioneer Arts @ Montefiore.

All artwork featured on Pioneer Arts is created by artists with lived experience of a learning disability and/or autism.
